Sound Image Band
The Sound Image band is one of Cape Town's most popular function bands. Headed by guitarist Gary Deacon, the five-piece consists of Cape Town's finest, including Andrew Ford from VJR on keyboard, Ivan Bell on drums, Willie van Zyl on saxophone, clarinet, and penny whistle and ex Jonny Cooper Big Band vocalist Jeff Weiner. Internationally acclaimed female vocalist, Denay Willie, can join the band to make it a six-piece performance.

The group has an extensive repertoire to suit all musical tastes, from the increasingly popular swing and Sinatra styles to Dixieland, Latino, traditional, rock & roll and contemporary popular songs from the 1960’s to the present. They provide both quiet, sophisticated background music during dinner, and lively music that’s perfect for the dance floor.

Breakfast Included Band
Since their first sell-out public performance in 1999, Breakfast Included never once rested on their laurels, recording two critically-acclaimed albums and earning a reputation as one of the hardest working bands out there, playing every Western Cape venue between Kirstenbosch and Swellendam. They released two internationally acclaimed albums, Breakfast Included (2001) and Nightwork Ahead (2004). Despite their gruelling group ethic, the group’s members remained mindful of individual development. Thus Pianist Jason Reolon won the SAMRO (South African Music Rights Organisation) Overseas Scholarship for Jazz piano in 2001.

The all-new band will add that something special to the proceedings when style, visual impact and the best music is required. They are sharply dressed and versatile, adjusting to any musical setting, from intimate to centre-stage, making them the perfect choice for all occasions. This band will provide an unforgettable musical experience with a huge repertoire drawing from the entire Jazz spectrum (Swing, Latin, Funk, R&B and African)
