With his cheerful demeanour and eager attitude, Louwrens is perfectly suited to the events industry, even if he didnt always know it! Louwrens initially studied computer and electronic engineering at the University of Pretoria, but came to the realisation that his true passion lies in the hospitality industry. Instead of staring at screens all day, he began to garner valuable experience in the industry, including working in the UK for an events planning consultancy. Louwrens later earned a Higher Diploma in Professional Cheffing and Baking from the Institute of Culinary Arts, specialising in Front of House, Wine and Sommelier. His talent did not go unnoticed, and he won a merit award for best student in this category and passed with distinction. To top it off, he also completed the Michael Fridjhon Wine Tasting Academy with distinction!

Today Louwrens is the Venue Manager at Webersburg Wine Estate and loves every minute of his job. Working in the events planning industry really appeals to him, especially meeting different people on a daily basis. As he says, I love seeing the face of a happy customer.

As full time coordinator at Webersburg Estate, Kaley is a valued member of our dynamic team. There are few people who can match her boundless energy and enthusiasm – we just love her can-do attitude and practical approach to events coordination. Couple this with her International Degree in Hotel Management, and it's no wonder that Kaley is so well suited to her position. She relishes the opportunity to create exceptional events at this prestigious venue. As she puts it, "I am very organised and really appreciate the many different opportunities here."

Kaley is quick to list the reasons why she enjoys her job so much. Having grown up in the Cape countryside, she thrives in the winelands setting that frames Webersburg. "I absolutely love it. It's really my passion – the farm, being outdoors and especially the scenery! Of course, the people who I work with are also great. It's wonderful to be part of the Aleit Group!"
