The Aleit Group Celebrates Mandela Day by Supporting Gordon’s Bay Outreach Soup Kitchens

In the spirit of Mandela Day on July 18, 2024, The Aleit Group proudly partnered with Gordon’s Bay Outreach to support their incredible work in the community. This year’s Mandela Day, inspired us to contribute meaningfully to the lives of those in need, particularly the children who rely on the nutritious meals provided by the Outreach’s soup kitchens.

Gordon’s Bay Outreach operates several soup kitchens that feed over 400 children weekly, ensuring each meal is nutritious and balanced according to a menu designed by a dietician. These efforts are crucial in fostering the health and well-being of the children, providing them with the sustenance they need to grow and thrive. The dedication and hard work of the ladies who run these soup kitchens are nothing short of heroic, and we wanted to show our appreciation for their tireless service.

On Mandela Day, our team from The Aleit Group joined hands with the volunteers at Gordon’s Bay Outreach. Together we served meals, ensuring that every child received a hearty and healthy dish. The smiles on the children’s faces were a poignant reminder of the impact that a simple, nutritious meal can have.

To further express our gratitude to the incredible women who manage these soup kitchens, we prepared beautiful hampers filled with essentials and treats. These hampers were our way of saying “thank you” for their unwavering commitment to the community and their endless compassion for the children. Their selflessness and dedication are truly inspiring, and we wanted to honour their efforts in a meaningful way.

The Aleit Group believes in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Mandela Day serves as a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility to uplift and support one another. Our involvement with Gordon’s Bay Outreach is just one example of how we strive to make a positive impact, not just on this special day, but throughout the year.
