The Jan Kriel Wine Auction 2025: Knowledge is Power

We are thrilled to share the stunning results from this year’s @jankrielinstituut Wine Auction, an annual fundraising event for the Jan Kriel School, thoughtfully coordinated by our talented third-year students! 🌟 This much-anticipated event, which raises vital funds for the school, reflected more than just elegance—it symbolised hope and the power of building brighter futures.

The theme for this year’s auction was “Knowledge is Power” 😍—a concept that resonated deeply throughout the evening. The design was styled in rich blue tones, with tables adorned with seasonal fruit and grapes, striking blue dried proteas, and glowing LED lamps. Together, these elements created a sophisticated yet meaningful ambiance, perfectly complementing the theme of growth, knowledge, and empowerment.

✨ The tables looked exquisite, with crisp white linen, transparent chairs, neatly folded navy napkins, polished glassware, and delicate touches of light reflecting across the room (as seen in the image above). The atmosphere was both modern and warm, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.

Adding to the success of the evening, our first-year students played a valuable role by assisting with the event. This gave them the opportunity to work towards their practical hour goals, while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in event execution. Their enthusiasm and dedication were a vital part of the event’s success.
